The CES Group was initially established in 2006 with funding from the Department of Trade and Industry and private energy organisations. We are currently funded by the Department of Energy and Climate Change and by regional development agencies One North East and Yorkshire Forward for the work we undertake in their respective regions.

CES is a can-do organisation that is committed to assisting local authorities, housing associations and other partner organisations to deliver in their commitment to lowering carbon emissions and improving the standards of their housing stock.

While others talk, we act. Please see our projects page to see some of the successes we have delivered across the North East and Yorkshire and Humber.

We work closely with our sister company, GoWarm. They help people properly insulate their homes through good quality wall cavity and loft insulation, at the same time offering home heating and other benefits that an individual may be entitled to. Their work can save people hundreds of pounds off their annual fuel bills
